Huayna Potosi 6,088 M (2 Days):

The Huayna Potosi is the most frequently climbed mountain of the 6000m in the Cordillera Real region. This is due to its easy access and non technical characteristics. The normal route is the preferred option for most mountain climbers, who take on this challenge.
For climbers with good acclimatization.

Day 1.- An early departure from La Paz brings us straight up to the heights. We start our ascent toa “Campo Alto”, situated at 5.135 meters.
Hiking time for 2-3 hours moraine.

Day 2.- After a very early breakfast we will begin heading up the glacier, aiming towards the east face and arriving at the Pala. We then continue all the way to the top arriving at the summit of Mt. Huayna Potosi (6080 meters), after about six hours of ascent. Once at the top we’ll be able to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Andes Mountains and the sun rising to the east. We will then start our descent back to base camp and onward to Laguna Zongo, where our vehicle will be waiting for us to return to La Paz.
